As a former Chief Information Officer and current Career Counseling Manager at The University of Tulsa, he designs frameworks that increase placement probability by aligning candidate signals with how hiring managers actually evaluate risk.

With more than 30 years of experience helping individuals achieve meaningful career outcomes, Tom brings a rare dual perspective — both from inside the hiring decision and from the advising side of the table. He has worked with thousands of job seekers and played a key role in achieving a 97% placement rate for graduates at The University of Tulsa.

His background includes a BSBA in Marketing and an MBA with an emphasis in Information Systems Management. Tom also brings experience leading enterprise-level initiatives, including ERP data migration projects, giving him a strong understanding of how organizations operate, make decisions, and evaluate talent.

In his current role, he leads and develops a team of career counselors, working to elevate placement strategy across the organization and improve outcomes at scale.
